Beginner Drum Lessons are perfect for first-time drummers. Students will learn the basics of the drums from their drum teacher such as: hand/feet syncopation, proper form, drum-set anatomy, rudiments, basic drum set notation/rhythmic value, as well as the joy of learning to lay with their favorite songs.
The Intermediate class builds off of the skills acquired in the beginner class. Students will learn: how to apply rudiments to the drum set, intermediate/advanced drum set notation, learning songs by ear, double bass (based on stile preference)

Bellevue Music Lessons is the music school addition to the city of Bellevue, NE. Great! ...but why should you choose us, when there are other places that also teach? Great Question.
The answer is very simple... as the owners, Music Lessons is ALL we do day-in and day-out. We own 2 other music schools located in Omaha and Gretna with a combined student count of almost 600 students! We know how to teach and we know how to give a great experience!
We have made it our life's purpose to offer music lessons to local communities at an affordable price, while maintaining a fun and welcoming environment. We go ALL out on our music decorations to help inspire kids and aspiring musicians feel like they just entered the coolest place on earth. We also have Pinball Machines and Arcade Games for kids to play while they wait for their lessons.
We have lessons for kids, teens, and adults that want to make music a part of their life. We are so proud of all our schools and teams... we want to share it with the Bellevue Community!

We take the safety of our students very seriously. In order to make sure all parents and kids are comfortable, we have cameras going at all time in each room. Parents can watch in real time on our screens, or even sit in the room for any lessons!
We pride ourselves in our ability to teach any student of any age! So, whether lessons are for a child or an adult, we have you covered!
The reason we don't require a long term commitment or contract is so that way you can learn music comfortably without feeling pressured to stay or pay for a long period of time... let's see if we are a good fit for you!
We base our studio hours on the school schedule. We are open for any student that wants to take lessons after school, but we also offer "by appointment" lessons for other times during the day.
We currently have a Music Studio in Omaha, Adkins Guitar and Music, located on 84th and Grover Street. We have an amazing staff and student base. Our almost 200 5-Star reviews are something we are very proud of!

Nathan Wolf has been playing music for over 15 years. Although he started his musical journey with guitar and piano, Nathan switched to drums at age 15, discovering his passion for rhythm and percussion. He studied jazz drum set at the UNO, and plays in the bands Pagan Athletes and Cat Piss. He has gone on several U.S. tours, and has open
Nathan Wolf has been playing music for over 15 years. Although he started his musical journey with guitar and piano, Nathan switched to drums at age 15, discovering his passion for rhythm and percussion. He studied jazz drum set at the UNO, and plays in the bands Pagan Athletes and Cat Piss. He has gone on several U.S. tours, and has opened for a variety of national touring acts. While Nathan is primarily a drum set player, he also has experience with symphonic and marching percussion.
Nathan believes in developing solid fundamentals, so that students have the skills to play in any style or genre they want. He generally plays rock and jazz, but Nathan is interested in teaching all styles of music to anyone interested in drumming.
Dan Mecek has been playing music for over 20 years. He started his musical journey at the age of 12 by picking up the bass and started taking lessons before he avanced to guitar at age 16.
After high school, Dan went to study music and small ensemble at Central Community College in Columbus, NE.

Since age 16, Dan has been in many various rock and metal bands being lead vocalist to rhythm guitarist or bassist. For the last 5 years he has been in the Omaha metal band Viscerous. They have played many local metal shows all over Omaha, Lincoln, Council Bluffs, Sioux City and Des Moines to opening for various known national touring acts such as Death Angel and Exodus.

Josh Pusher is a lifelong musician, starting in childhood he has always been involved with music. After high school he spent some time studying music at UNO as a saxophone player. Later on he put his focus and intensity into guitar.

Geli, a Bellevue native, attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and graduated with her Bachelor of Music in Education degree. As a part of her studies, she studied clarinet unde
Angelica "Geli" Gonzalez specializes in instrumental music and teaches guitar, piano, orchestra, and traditional band instruments at Bellevue Music Lessons. Geli, a Bellevue native, attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and graduated with her Bachelor of Music in Education degree. As a part of her studies, she studied clarinet under Dr. Diane Barger and other graduate students in the UNL clarinet studio. During her time at UNL she marched with the Cornhusker Marching Band on clarinet and learned mellophone to play in the Big Red Express pep band. She also has experience in jazz band, musical pit band, traditional choir, and acapella.
She currently teaches 6th grade band in Bellevue Public Schools, has been working as an instructional staff member with the Bellevue East Marching Band since 2018, and also directs the Bellevue East Winter Winds marching ensemble.
Geli believes in the value of music education for all students, from child to adult, and that music is a lifelong journey. She wishes to instill a love for music while also developing effective practice habits, independence, and being lifelong learners. Mistakes are always "happy accidents" and celebrated as an imperative step in the learning process. She approaches instruction with patience and detailed feedback for learners to use in their continuous improvement, as well as trying to reach students' personal musical goals. Geli likes to emphasize proper technique, posture, common musical vocabulary, note/rhythmic accuracy, reading sheet music, and teaching basic music theory.
